For this year’s International Women’s Day, we’re excited to come together to ‘Accelerate Action’ for gender equality. This year’s theme challenges us to step forward in solidarity to make gender parity a reality. At allpay we are proud to be part of a growing movement of organisations taking decisive steps to achieve gender equality, both in the workplace and beyond.
The World Economic Forum recently revealed that at the current rate of progress, it will take until 2158 – roughly five generations from now – to achieve full gender equality. This serves as a powerful reminder that we must accelerate the pace of change. We cannot afford to wait any longer.
At allpay, we are actively taking steps to break down the systemic barriers that women face in the workplace and create an environment where gender equality isn’t just a goal, it’s a reality.
Pioneering equal opportunities at allpay
From the very beginning, allpay’s Founder and Entrepreneur, Tony Killeen, envisioned a company where gender would never be a limiting factor for success. His dedication to creating an inclusive and diverse environment has shaped our culture, ensuring that talent – regardless of gender – determines the future of our organisation.
Women leading the way at allpay
One of the many reasons we are excited to celebrate International Women’s Day 2025 is the extraordinary women leading the charge at allpay. With 46% of our workforce and 46% of leadership roles occupied by women, we are proud to reflect the importance of equal representation in leadership positions.
With a commitment to equal opportunities, allpay is not only transforming the future of fintech but also ensuring that women have equal representation and influence at the highest levels. The increasing number of women in fintech leadership roles is a powerful testament to how diversity drives innovation and success in the industry.
We are especially inspired by one woman at the helm of our company: Michelle Pacey, our Managing Director.
Michelle, the first female Managing Director in allpay’s history, leads with vision, courage, and unwavering commitment. Michelle’s leadership exemplifies what it means to pave the way for other women in the fintech sector. She is passionate about creating opportunities for other women to rise through the ranks and believes in amplifying women’s voices within an industry that is rapidly evolving.
Michelle, along with so many others across the business, embodies the essence of what it means to ‘Accelerate Action’ – challenging the status quo, building strong foundations for future leaders, and driving our business forward with determination.
Celebrating our women and building the future
International Women’s Day is not just about celebrating the women of today – it’s about accelerating the pace of progress for the women of tomorrow. The theme of ‘Accelerating Action’ is a call to action for all of us. It’s a reminder that the future is not something that will happen by itself; it’s something that we must actively create, together.
At allpay, we are proud to be part of a team that is pushing forward for a future where women are equally represented, equally empowered, and equally respected. We commit to accelerating action for gender equality, not just today, but every day. Together, we can make the change we want to see in the world.
