We’re excited to say that 2024 is coming to a very successful end for ANNA, with awards at the Spectator Economic Investor Awards for the South West and South Wales, and a 26th place finish in the 2024 Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50 list.

The Spectator Economic Innovator of the Year Awards, in partnership with wealth managers Rathbones, celebrates the passion and creativity of British entrepreneurs. Businesses from all corners of the UK were invited to showcase their achievements and contributions to the UK economy and society. This year ANNA won in the South West & South Wales Scale Up category.

Boris Diakonov, ANNA’s co-founder and co-CEO says, “To be recognised by such prestigious and well-respected brands as The Spectator and Rathbones is a real privilege and with our head office in Cardiff we couldn’t be more delighted to win in the South West & Wales category.”

Why ANNA won

Here’s what two of the judges said about why they chose ANNA.

Venture capitalist Adrian de Ferranti said  “What ANNA has done is taken away that invoicing, bookkeeping and accounting part of being an entrepreneur - there are lots of companies trying to do this but ANNA seems to me to be the first one that does it simply, cheaply and effectively.”

Caroline Theobald CBE said: 'For people who struggle with bookkeeping and the very important cash flow that keeps a company alive, ANNA takes away the drudgery and makes finances fun.’ Huge thanks again to The Spectator and Rathbones, and congratulations to all of the inspiring businesses that were nominated.

Climbing up the Deloitte Fast 50

Meanwhile, ANNA was named number 26 in the 2024 Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50, a ranking of the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in the UK.

“You might have to pinch me! Ranking 26th overall in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 is a massive thrill and being named as the South West & Wales regional winner really is the cherry on the cake,” said ANNA’s co-founder and co-CEO Eduard Panteleev. “To be recognised by an organisation as influential as Deloitte for our business achievements is a huge honour and it’s a great boost for the whole team. Thank you Deloitte!”
