Our Public Affairs and Public Relations working group focuses on the promotion of the payments sector through strategic campaigns and industry outreach. Building trust in payments and fintech is amongst the group's founding objectives, creating educational resources that promote and further understanding of the industry. The group monitors public opinion and acts quickly to prevent misleading media coverage and misinformed opinion from creating confusion or causing harm to market participants.
Our working groups are the engine of the Payments Innovation Forum. By bringing together the best specialists in each area, our working groups assess key issues, share best practice and suggest improved approaches to build, enhance and maintain market confidence. Each of our groups provide a focus on areas of critical importance to our members and have developed into an invaluable resource when considering specific challenges.

The group engages with and educates regulators, policy-makers and government departments, and acts swiftly to prevent legislative proposals from stifling innovation and competition in payments.
