Read the outcome of our quarterly meetings with the Financial Conduct Authority

Our engagement with the UK's Financial Conduct Authority allows us to discuss matters that are of crucial importance to members.

In 2022, the FCA implemented a streamlined approach to their engagement with industry. Specifically, a regular quarterly meeting with all the payments industry bodies collectively and bringing together various areas of the FCA including Policy, Authorisations, Supervision and Sector representatives. This new approach facilitates a richer exchange of views and ensures that the industry bodies hear the same updates from the FCA at the same time on a cross-FCA basis.

We engage with the FCA on an individual basis only in cases where PIF needs to raise matters which are quite specific to our members.
