PIF Legal & Regulatory Working Group (“LRWG”)

Overview 

A key function of PIF is to inform and facilitate the best possible understanding of prepaid and fintech with regulators and policy influencers. The purpose of the LRWG is to consider current regulatory and compliance issues and any impact these have on PIF members and the industry in general.

What the LRWG does

• Continually monitor and seek to influence important changes in the regulatory environment for payment services
• Engage with legislators and regulators to ensure PIF members have a voice in regulatory issues and are kept abreast of developments
• Help members to understand the implications of regulatory change and the impact this has on their business
• Communicate relevant information to PIF members through briefings, events and alerts

All members of PIF are encouraged to participate in LRWG meetings. The agenda for this meeting will be circulated to members in advance. Members also have an opportunity to table discussion topics.
